DATA PROTECTION REGULATIONS

Our data protection regulations are based on the German Telemedia Act (TMG) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

Art. 1 Use of your data

Sofort GmbH (hereinafter referred to as "Sofort") processes all data with the aid of electronic data processing.

You are aware that Sofort collects, processes and uses your personal data it receives in the connection with its contractual relationship and the integration of our (payment) services and which is required for processing (e.g. name, postal address, billing address, email, phone and fax number, VAT ID number, bank account details project and transaction data).

Art. 2 Data exchange between Sofort and Deutsche Handelsbank

We advise you if you are interested in a product that is being offered in collaboration with Deutsche Handelsbank (a brand of the Deutsche Kontor Privatbank AG), Elsenheimerstrasse 41, 80687 Munich, Germany and the opening of a Deutsche Handelsbank-account is required, data will be exchanged between Sofort and Deutsche Handelsbank for the purpose of contract initiation. Further, data exchange will take place between Sofort and Deutsche Handelsbank where this is required for the provision and/or the processing of a product.

Art. 3 Use of your data for marketing purposes

You hereby agree that Sofort may use and process your personal data including project and transaction data for marketing purposes i.e. for information about further offers, products, campaigns, promotial contests and sweepstakes, services, latest news as well as information on trade fairs and other events.

You also allow that we may pass your personal data including your project and transaction data to other Klarna Group companies to facilitate Klarna Group to provide you with additional offers, products or services.

For marketing measures no personal data shall be shared with third parties or passed to other companies.

You have the right to revoke this consent at any time for all or individual marketing measures by email (dataprotection@sofort.com), by post (Sofort GmbH, Dataprotection, Theresienhöhe 12, 80339 Munich, Germany). This will incur no additional costs beyond the usual tariffs.

Further, you receive our Sofort Newsletter by email with additional information on certain products or marketing measures. You can revoke your consent at any time by clicking the individual unsubscribe link in the newsletter email or by unsubscribing directly in your Sofort merchant menu under the menu item "Master Data". This will incur no additional costs beyond the usual tariffs.

Art. 4 View, modify, or delete your personal data

You may view, modify, or delete your personal data at any time in Sofort´s customer menu under the menu item "Master data".

Art. 5 Right to access, correct, delete, or block your data

According to Art. 33 BDSG (Federal Data Protection Act), we inform you that you have the right to request access to your personal data free of charge.
